About City Airline
Presentation
The business idea of City Airline is simple: From Gothenburg direct to and from your destination. We want to create more rapid, easier and better connections both within Sweden and with the rest of Europe.
We are convinced that the only way to create a stable and trustworthy airline is to plan for the long term, and this is something we have done at City Airline since the start in 2001.
We are based at Göteborg Landvetter Airport, where we also have our head office. City Airline is a wholly Swedish company, currently with approximately 110 employees.
Destinations
Our current direct services from Göteborg Landvetter are to:
Alicante, Barcelona, Bergen, Birmingham, Helsinki, Luleå, Lyon, Malaga, Manchester, Nice, Palma, Prague, Rome, Stavanger, Sundsvall, Tallinn, Umeå, Visby (summer period), Zürich, Åre/Östersund (winter period).
SAS Partner
City Airline has been a partner with SAS since 2006. This means that travellers can earn Eurobonus points on most of our routes.
City Airline has also been approved according to SAS quality criteria, both operationally and commercially.
Fast jet aircraft
City Airline owns seven fast, modern jets manufactured by Embraer with space for 37 or 49 passengers, and three jets from McDonnell Douglas with a capacity of 125 passangers each.
