Now flying to 19 destinations
City Airline now provides without doubt the most non-stop routes from Göteborg Landvetter Airport. With seven new destinations in southern Europe, we can offer non-stop flights to 19 European towns for residents of western Sweden eager to travel.
This time it is leisure travellers who benefit most from City Airline’s addition of several destinations to its network.
“Many of the new towns that we are offering are pleasant weekend destinations, and we have scheduled the flights such that our passengers can enjoy the longest time possible at their destination”, says Louise Arvidsson, marketing director at City Airline.
Alicante, Athens, Barcelona, Malaga, Milan, Palma and Rome are the new towns that are now easy to reach from Göteborg. But City Airline has not by any means forgotten its business travellers.
“The flights to business destinations such as Manchester, Lyons and Birmingham are unchanged, and we will continue to maintain an intense dialogue with business interests in western Sweden to ensure that we are offering the optimal services. It is the combination of business and leisure destinations that makes us strong. Business travel has been our solid foundation since the start in 2000, and it will always be an important component of our services.”
The new destinations means that City Airline will double its operations in 2010; new aircrafts will be commissioned in order to make it possible to cover all routes, and several new offers will become available in the near future.
“Our campaign around the launch has attracted a lot of attention in Göteborg in the past few weeks. It is, to a large extent, a matter of building recognition and promoting our wide selection of non-stop flights throughout Europe. We will always ensure that our pricing strategy for flights is appropriate. This entails setting a price that enables us to continue to develop our product, and one that we hope that our passengers experience as reasonable”, says Louise.
