Prices and regulations concerning special baggage
Golf bag *
The maximum weight permitted for a golf bag is 15 kg, and the price per flight is 22 €. Additional weight over 15 kg is charged at SEK 120 per kilogram and flight. Contact us or your travel agent in order to calculate the fee. Transport of golfing equipment must be booked in advance by contacting our booking office via +46-31-600 385, or through your travel agent. We recommend that you protect the golf clubs. We accept only a certain number of golfbags on each flight.
Wheelchair *
A foldaway wheelchair is to be checked in as baggage and will be transported free of charge. The weight may not exceed 50 kg and the transport must be booked 48 hours in advance. For electric wheelchairs up to 150 kg, please contact our Call Centre or your travel agency.
Skiing equipment *
Skiing equipment may be transported at a charge of 22 € per flight. Skiing equipment must be securely packed and protected. Skiing equipment is considered to consist of one pair of skies, one pair of ski sticks, and one pair of ski boots, or one snowboard and one pair of ski boots. Transport of skiing equipment must be booked in advance. We recommend that you protect the skiing equipment.
Bicycle *
We charge 22 € per flight. The bicycle must be well packaged and the pedals must be removed. We also recommend you to remove the front tire. The handlebars must be turned into a parallel position with the bicycle frame.
Musical instrument *
Musical instrument the size of a hand baggage can be brought onboard the aircraft without extra charge when it is included in the free weight of the hand baggage (8 kg). If the instrument weighs more than 8 kg we ask you to contact our Call Centre or your travel agency for further information. If you have a large size instrument you have the opportunity to book an extra seat for it.
Prams/child carseats
You may take with you prams and child carseats at no extra cost, if the weight is less than 10 kg. Prams and child carseats must be checked in as normal baggage and are to be packed in protective plastic. Such plastic is available for purchase at the airport, and is not provided by City Airline.
Windsurfing boards *
WWindsurfing boards are accepted to and from the following destinations: Rome, Nice, Barcelona, Alicante, Palma and Malaga. Cost: €90.
Weapons and ammunition
Only weapons intended for sport and hunting may be transported on our aircraft. Ammunition shall be wrapped in its original packaging, with a maximum weight of 5 kg. Both weapons and ammunition must be checked in separately. Valid identification and your firearm permit must be shown both upon check-in and at baggage claim.
